Procurement
GBD are experienced in managing the procurement of prototypes and rapid replications from favoured outsource suppliers using all the popular technolgies including SLA, SLS, FDM, VM, OP and VAC castings. Full presentation models are often used for pre-launch photography and exhibitions.
Testing
Be it dynamic crash testing of child safety products or cyclic load testing on patient handling equipment, GBD has considerable experience of prototype and product testing. Often this is validating the design by using production intent samples to prove out mechanisms, structural strength and life durability to identified requirements. GBD can produce validation data suitable for a product's technical file by designing specific testing equipment or via an independent third party test house.
